Learn How To Make The Perfect Cream Cheese Frosting
I don’t know about you, but at times I prefer a nice cream cheese frosting to a traditional buttercream frosting.
This cream cheese frosting is one of my many go-to recipes. It is easy to make and incredibly tasty.
The finished texture of the frosting is totally dependent on how you mix it all together. Therefore, make sure you follow the instructions in the video tutorial carefully.
The texture of the finished frosting also makes it easy to pipe and make lovely frosting flowers with. It is a very versatile recipe that can be used cupcakes, cake pops, carrot cakes and much, much more.
To make this delicious frosting from cream cheese, you will need:
- 5 cups (24 oz or 680 g) unsifted icing sugar (powder sugar)
- tbsp lemon juice
- 2tsp milk
- 125 g (4.5 oz) softened butter
- 125 g (4.5 oz) softened cream cheese
If you do not want to leave the cream cheese out to soften, you can put it in the microwave for about 45 seconds. This should make it nice and pliable.
